Here's how you go about this:

1. If you already have a g-mail account/e-mail address: when you click "comment," you'll sign in with the same e-mail and password combo as usual, and away you go.

2. If you do not have a g-mail account/e-mail address:  you can also sign in with a LiveJournal, WordPress, AIM, OpenID, or TypePress account or make one and do the same as above.
